And it’s not just Biden‘s mental acuity in question. He supposedly prepped for two weeks for the debate, but he wasn’t prepared for Trump’s Gish-gallop of lies and attacks? We don’t know if it was him or his team who dropped the ball. We’ll vote for “Grandpa Joe,”but he’s not inspiring confidence.

I agree. It's not impossible for Biden to impress with "I'm back" energy going forward, but as much as I want him to win, his brain didn't work properly in debate, and one more "senior moment" and he's done. Younger energy is desperately needed to reassure voters that country comes first.

The only bright spot I see is that the reporting i’ve heard is pretty consistent. Words to the effect of “Biden stumbled and looked old while Trump spewed a firehose of lies and personal attacks.“ Don’t know if all mainstream media is doing this, but it keeps Joe/dems in the running.

When I started at UNC in 1990, the university was ranked in the top twenty of *all* colleges nationally. And if I’m remembering correctly the in-state tuition was just $500 a semester. It was just an incalculably valuable public good, which is why the NC GOP made it their mission to destroy it.
