I keep thinking about how the SCOTUS justices, who have proven they care a TON about their media coverage, issued the worst decision since Dredd Scott and then got to happily watch outlets spend the next week running 10,000 “Biden in Trouble” stories and like 5 “Hm, Immunity is Interesting” stories

Every academic article has a corresponding author whose email address is listed on the first page. If an article is paywalled, just send a short, polite email requesting a PDF from the author. 95% of the time you’ll receive it within a day. People like knowing their work is being read!

I fully support NPR but I really wish they would stop letting a certain reporter run with her pet projects on "faith." The newest doesn't have "faith" in its title but yet somehow the questions are often about "spirituality" or "self-help" topics and I hate it so much

It’s true the universities have no choice but to use force & law enforcement to crack down on the student protesters because rules are rules and it is not like the entirety of university life — Greek life, for instance — is based on explicitly looking the other way & even facilitating rule breaking
