Dass nur 13% der Unions & FDP-Wähler bereit wären für den Erhalt unserer Lebensgrundlagen auf einen Teil ihres Wohlstands zu verzichten ist so ein Armutszeugnis. Wir leben in 🇩🇪 im Überfluss & diese Leute kriegen auf Kosten der Nachwelt den Mund nicht voll. Dieser Egoismus ist völlig unverständlich.

It is hardly understandable because the EPL paper is by far much more accessible than the paper in the World Scientific publisher's book. I suspect that the authors simply copied the reference instead of actually owning it (and even not having read it).

Den meisten ist offenbar klar, dass „Wohlstand und gute Jobs in der Autoindustrie“ nur mit klimaneutralen Fahrzeugen gesichert werden können. Vor allem ist Klimaschutz Menschenrecht und laut Verfassungsgericht geboten. Wer das nicht versteht sollte keine Verantwortung tragen.

Interesting study using recurrence plots investigated multiple transitions from wet to dry periods in Africa: "Together with events of extreme wetness at the end of the transition, these droughts form a pronounced climate “flickering”.."

Seems we had more visitors at our presentation at the Potsdam Day of Science yesterday – more young kids and more visitors in general than during the last "Nights of science". The shift in daytime was likely the reason. But it was fun again! If you could not come – you surely missed this 🚀 event!

Es ist ein wunderschöner Frühlingmorgen: am Sägistalsee (hinter dem Schwabhorn (dunkler Zacken in der linken Bildmitte via axalp.roundshot.com)) ist die Temperatur aufgrund des typischen Settings (Neuschnee, Aufklaren, Wind eingeschlafen) unter -20 Grad gefallen.
