Worse than ever east of Yonge & “better” than ever west of it. Have you seen all the shiny new office buildings, expensive concourses & million $ condos near King&Spadina? The contrast is stark&disgusting. When pawnshop row is developed, the “worse” will vanish still unhoused. Chow is such a letdown

The Rose of Sharon hibiscus tree is blooming! Love how the pinkish purple tone shifts from sunshine to shade. #FlowerReport 🌱

🤨🤨🤨 Of course it’s said that! Grrrrrrr! I’m glad to see sexist beliefs and attitudes are changing and the younger generations have more access to information

And it was Catholic school. It’s a miracle I didn’t end up a teen mom 🤭

Ya that is definitely not what you want to hear over and over when you’ve decided the opposite.
Genetic?! I should ask my mom if hers were as bad as mine, I don’t think we ever talked about it! A very different era. I got my birds and bees talk at school 😑

No side effects for me too, we are lucky!
Oh yes, how all different kinds of women’s pain is notoriously ignored, the curse of Eve indeed! 😅

Ditto!! My cramps used to incapacitate me, my teachers wouldn’t believe me when I couldn’t even come to school for a day or 2. The pill was a game changer.
I’m on cronedom’s doorstep and can’t wait til it I’m finally invited in. Now THAT’S something worth celebrating by frolicking in a meadow! 😂

Haha! Yes!! The old school pads were horrible! So bulky and uncomfortable, and I was both athletic and a heavy flow gal in school and they did not do the job well enough at times. 😳😅 Luckily I missed the safety pin era, mom told me about those! The cup seems like a good choice, never tried it 🤷🏻♀️

I questioned those too when they were introduced to market and sadly, they turned out to be toxic too!

Isn’t that so sad, that we’re pressured for this? Friends of mine were very vocal about how they thought pads were gross and so were saying indirectly that I was, no matter my legit reason, TSS, and my suspicion that they are toxic. I’ve become used to being ignored and proven right with enough time

This picture from 2020 is still on point. Every damn summer, a simultaneous COVID surge and climate-fueled heatwave.

Wow, incredible! Pretty sure you mentioned it was also hand dyed in your post but now that you remind me, I’m blown away all over again. That punk market is not very punk if it can’t recognize your talent, whatever medium you choose to express it. The universe is making space for something better 💜

That sucks, I’m sorry. But for what it’s worth, your work is beautiful. I still think about that green purse with the leaf beautifully branded into it you made. 💚 (pyrography?)
