An unavoidable problem is that results become a proxy for "quality", when in reality they mostly represent the socioeconomic status of the community. This is one of the pitfalls Nats are about to fall into with standardised testing in primary schools, even if they claim to be measuring "progress"

12% of ppl at retirement age rent. In 30 years this will be 50%. Pensions are set on the assumption retirees own their home outright. A whole generation are being screwed out of a place to live by successive govts. We need media telling these stories, not stories of landlords who think tax is unfair
