This is exactly correct. And it’s the fundamental flaw of all Trump coverage. Because Trump took over an existing Party, the press ascribes longstanding legitimacy and fitness to him instead of using his obvious unfitness and illegitimacy to newly reevaluate the Party.

...which wasn't what I wanted! When I'd replied "STOP" to their texts previously, I'd just meant "Stop flagging these transactions as fraud (thereby stopping the texts about them)," not, "Continue flagging stuff but just stop sending the texts when stuff gets flagged!"

yeah figuring out whose end it was on was something I had a lot of trouble with previously, too... I tried asking my bank if they could just auto-approve all transactions made via ActBlue, but instead all they were able to do for me was get my text messages from the system turned back on...

dang it, not again... I've had my bank's fraud detection system flag contributions via the form as possibly fraudulent before, which I guess comes from trying to make too many transactions at once, so I've been bothering ActBlue support to implement a queue to get around that, but, alas...

This is the thing that annoys me when people will say, "Oh, Durbin doesn't want to hold the Judiciary accountable? I guess that means Democrats are weak and feckless," and, like, no, that's a Durbin problem, not a Democrats problem!
