Extremely proud of my blockheaded stepson for successfully entering a coffee shop and being a really good doggo. It was his first time. His mum is cautious even though he's trained and on leash in public, because he is a) very lorge and b) occasionally forgets to be a good doggo.

I think "empath" is one of those things that only other people should be allowed to call you. Almost every comment I've ever heard that follows "I'm an empath, and..." is toxic that nearby animals immediately spout extra heads.

A lot of those breaching Great Whites have been filmed near Cape Town, essentially headbutting seals out of the water and then eating them. Imagine being one of those seals! Minding your own business, seal-ing along, and then BAM!!!! It's apex predator time.
