I understand your point. I disagree with it. I don’t think many people at all care about the turnout in this year’s presidential primary. Heck, I’ve been all-in on Dem primaries since 2008 in WA State—and supported Warren in 2020—and I didn’t even bother to find out when the primary was this year.

Christ. Typically incumbents aren’t even opposed. And Biden was unopposed as far as most Democrats were concerned this time. No one seriously primaries a sitting president on either side unless they want party immolation (see Kennedy v Carter or Reagan v Ford).

It’s also an agreement between a federal government and several state governments about how to divide up their rights and responsibilities. Individual rights are pretty much absent from the original document, and even the Bill of Rights mostly clarified states vs federal control of freedoms.🙏🏻😉

Also, the activists have been threatening to stay home for months if not years by now. For God’s sake, just stay home. Follow through on your promise. I expect no one to be forced to vote for Biden. If you don’t think he either needs or deserves your vote, then vote for someone else or nobody.
