Dunedin doesnt realise how great this is. It creates a great pre-match atmosphere as hordes of people walk to the the stadium or bus/train to the game. Something I missed in Auckland. Still a majority traveld by car.

This is the BYD Dolphin Mini (aka Seagull) & the Leapmotor T03. They're rumoured to be flooding into the NZ & AU markets soon and will likely be highly affordable little electric cars. I wonder if one particular combustion-only compact maker is getting uneasy right about now? π€

Even on a cold, rainy day the bike is the best way to get around. Especially when you have a few external meetings incl at Uni and at the new Dunedin Hospital site. And great to see the bike rack is well used by the tradies there (even on a rainy day). π

You get one free sit for a Class 1 Drivers Licence then after that you get stung resit fees again As announced now by the Transport Minister Good. Driving is a privilage not a right and no gaming the system by jumping around after constantly failing

And as expected The Big 4 petrol companies have NOT lowered the price of fuel So keeping the 14c from the Regional Fuel Tax as profit. So if you want to know where inflation is coming from look there. Supply side aka corporate price gouging that is fixed by Windfall taxes.
