If nothing else, it has caused a huge problem with trust and democratic participation. Why would anyone—teachers, scientists, etc—put in all those extra hours again in future when their work can be thrown out so easily?

Something big we haven’t fully processed or reflected on is the massive amount of time and effort people around NZ have contributed towards long term curriculum changes, science system changes and local govt reforms, amongst others. All rejected by current govt. The deep engagement meant nothing.

In November, Israel arrested Mohammad Abu Salmiya on the claim that he facilitated the use of Al-Shifa as a "Hamas HQ". This was served to the west and Israeli public as justification for the storming and massacres in the hospital complex. After 7 months of torture, he was released without charges.

Hang on, hasn't our bloody Government just lifted speed restrictions? From 7 July all new cars sold in the EU and in Northern Ireland must have a range of technical safety features fitted as standard. The most notable of these is intelligent speed assistance – or colloquially, **a speed limiter**.
