And I thought the legacy of the Roberts court would be grubby corruption and stripping women of rights they had held for 30 years.
Silly me.

Oh no, I was worried about these stories coming out, and if they are true, it's a real problem. This story sounds like it could have been lifted whole cloth out of the Ron and Nancy Reagan era, and we know what she was fiercely hiding. Now I am legitimately scared.

It also aligns with something I heard on a Bulwark podcast: that Trump and his team are not interested in persuading independents and reluctant Republicans, they only want true believers. I guess they think if they can get more of them to actually vote, that's enough to win.

Go through this thread. Remember what an upside down clownworld it was. I’ve blocked out so much of those years. All respect to BTS’s ARMY.

Because I’m very slow, the NYT coverage of Trump baffled me until I realized they quite simply want him to win.

Wasn't just an ordinary high school; they sent him to military school and some weird-sounding behavioral school. Chicken or egg: did the schools mess him up or did they send him there because he was messed up?

I only forgave Biden for that in 2019, after he won the nomination. Was still mad at him when he was Obama's VP.

This Baker piece is a good example of why Biden doesn't want to talk to the NY Times.

Thank God they are doing this now and not after the election. Maybe it will help people stop thinking the economy sucks. Prices need to go down.

You now shouldn't have to pay more than $35 out-of-pocket for any inhaler made by either Astra Zeneca or Boehringer Ingelheim. This is a direct result of the Senate Democratic Majority – Senate Dems control the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension committee.

This is why people were calling out news organizations for giving such detailed descriptions of jurors it would be easy to doxx them. Shit a juror recused herself because her friends/family already knew who she was because of media descriptions.

Remember when the most important issue was civility in politics because restaurant workers politely decline to serve Sarah Sanders and now everyone targeted by Trump or his cronies needs private security and we don’t talk about civility much anymore www.nbcnews.com/politics/don...

This is Trump's central problem, politically speaking. The people who say the verdict makes them more likely to vote for Trump were always going to vote for Trump. Those are not voters moving into his column.
But some of the "less likely" voters are moving out of it.
