What I find fascinating about WaPo framing the Biden interview on how great Stephanopoulos is, is that obviously Biden did well because if he didn't, they wouldn't be talking about Stephanopoulos.

It's a stupid question. But it's stupid the way "Why should we hire you?" is a stupid question at job interviews. Biden should have had a better answer. (I did once lose it and say at an interview I thought that question was silly. I did not get that job.)

I do captioning for a living, & a big part of my job is cleaning up false starts & filler words. That has always been the norm at every media outlet. Print media edits Trump so carefully that you would never know what he actually sounds like. Doing this to Biden is a 180 from decades of policy.

I spoke to a friend I knew in high school who told me he "doesn't follow politics." I asked him what he thought about the election. He said, "I hear Biden's a senile wreck." He also said he hadn't heard of SCOTUS granting Trump immunity and has never heard of Project 2025. Media's doing a great job.

Ok but.... this to me seems like a huge failure of journalism to, apparently, put aside what's "important" for reasons. Editors keep telling us "Her emails" and "His age" are stories because it's what the public decided, but that is among the most dishonest excuses anyone's ever offered.

I wonder if Biden and his people think they can kind of repeat the camping of 2020, where because of Covid shut-downs, he could stay low in his basement. Everyone was yelling at him then and he just went slow and steady. Problem is it's not 2020, this should be a different campaign.

I got curious about how much money these reporters really made during the Trump years so I started looking up New York real estate records- haberman bought a 1.8 mill apt in 2019. moved from a 2 bed apt to a 5 bedroom house.

Three Toes Marge repeats a lie right-wingers and Putinists and Tankies love to spread about the money. USA is not sending Ukraine checks or suitcases with cash. The overwhelming majority of those billions are in weapons and supplies, which are made in the USA. That money is paid to American workers.
