Polling all seems to indicate voters broadly don't want Biden at the top here. Even democrats. We didn't see a huge contested primary where voters were extremely invested in the result. Yes lots of people acted like Biden winning the primary was a manifestation of Dem sentiment but be real.

I have one issue with the idea that replacing Biden would upset voters who actively want Biden at the top of the ticket (i.e the ones who bothered to vote in the primary) The issue being I don't think those voters wouldn't just vote dem anyway
