I can't see the menu until I get to the front. I'm in a fast food place like that maybe once a year, so I don't already know it. They steer the customers through the cattle lines so I can't get to the front & stand to the side. Make the menu bigger.

My father was a police officer. He died in 1980. When my mom died we were going through her things and there was a commendation from NYPD for my father. He got 2 burglars to surrender by shooting over their heads. My theory is he missed.

Unless you're trying to get pregnant & testing constantly, it's not long enough to know you're pregnant. It's effectively a ban but they can pretend they aren't forcing children and other rape victims to continue a pregnancy because, "Look. We have a SIX-week OK window!"

I read Mystic River mostly because I was mad at the ending of the movie. I wanted to see the real ending & I was right, that movie ending did not happen in the book. Then I binged Dennis Lehane. All of his books are great. Off to the library to reread now!
