Whilst we can laugh at Liz Truss hiding from admitting she lost her seat; we must remember that thousands of people actually voted for her and that their very existence is a dangerous argument in favour of sterilisation programmes.

I actually went and found the EU debate on this and found it was a quiet one-line paragraph that, by the time anyone noticed, public consultations had closed. Very sneaky. The law was passed about 6-7 years ago.

Even more funny is this: The UK is theoretically free to make the most of its post-Brexit freedoms, but the integrated nature of car manufacturing means new vehicles [in the UK] will also be telling their drivers to take their foot off the accelerator.

So tomorrow, can a journalist ask Luxon **why** the UK Tories have lost and what makes his policies any better than theirs were (after all, he plagiarised them)???

Hang on, hasn't our bloody Government just lifted speed restrictions?
From 7 July all new cars sold in the EU and in Northern Ireland must have a range of technical safety features fitted as standard. The most notable of these is intelligent speed assistance โ or colloquially, **a speed limiter**.

Going to be about as cheerful as I'm ever going to get, because the simple reality is no matter how big the majority the next Government won't get a honeymoon. The Tory enshittification of everything is too deep and dangerous to allow it.

If anyone in ลtautahi Christchurch is interested in Wikipedia and becoming a volunteer editor, we're having a meetup on Sunday morning in Tลซranga cafe (which also has amazing cheese scones).

First Past the Post has given Starmer such brainworms that he thinks this landslide is bc of something he did, rather than catastrophic collapse of the Tories into a party so incapable of governing that one of their prevous PMs tanked the economy within a fornight & was outlasted by a lettuce

You might've seen the fabricated 'study' that's doing the rounds this week, claiming that most EV drivers are all desperate to go back to slower, more expensive combustion cars, being tied to the pump. ๐LOL yeah right.
Well, here's an actual study done on actual drivers.

The worst (for me) is having an empty yellow bin and listening to how loud that first wine bottle is hitting the bottom. Wakes up the whole neighbourhood I'm sure.

Read my story about how Chris Bishop had always intended to get Kainga Ora out of his way.
This week news of the CEO and Board's clear out comes as no surprise.

BASTARDS!
BASTARDS!
BASTARDS!
Have a read of this and tell the Government what you think of them via your MP.
Possibly legal (I hope it gets challenged) but morally and ethically WRONG!

3 1/2inch or
5 1/4 inch?
I still have 2 of the 5 1/4" ones at home. They have an ASCII version of my route notes on and were still readable a couple of years ago.
A man at EcoTech Services in ลtautahi still has a floppy drive for them which also works.
