Yes, I got three balls of indigo for the body, and one ball of grey for the fins. The pattern does call for using a hook two sizes smaller than usual to ensure taut stitches to keep in stuffing.

My practice exists because we needed to figure out how to get PTSD therapy to rural Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado for kids who needed a job with dental and came home with PTSD, and the internet was the way to make it work. I have literal people who are alive because of online communities. 1/2

The annoying thing about the Neil Gaiman stuff: It can be a transphobic political hit job and still be true. Tabloids are known for holding back true stories to maximally hit people who step out of their political line. There's no happy easy line to say about that. It's just grim.
