I think Roberts beats him by sheer volume of horrible decisions. And I am not exactly familiar with Taney’s feelings on stare decisis but Roberts has completely obliterated it. Pretty sure Roberts and his majority would be on board for Dred though.

Yeah this is really the thing that is the most unbelievable of all. This isn’t some kind of theoretical law school exercise. This is a real case about real conduct that has already happened and been promised to happen again. They know exactly what the implications are - and they welcome them.

It is important to realize - and genuinely believe - that even though it always feels like we’re on our heels, there really are more of us than there are these retrograde backward fascists. We’re pretty fucked but I still believe the future belongs to us.

I would love to think you’re right but this isn’t just bobbling some answers. This is total validation for every asshole that has said over and over again that he’s too old. I have never and will not be one of those people but it doesn’t matter how many of us there are.
