In middle school I found out my uncle was actually a terrible contra-supporting drug kingpin who helped collide with the CIA to start a counter revolution in Nicaragua. He had a massive hacienda on the border with Costa Rica I spent spring breaks in as a kid, not knowing it was purchased with blood
