Korea is even more interesting because a lot of the really insane stuff we saw in vietnam as operational policy had its roots in Korea, like how there were obsessive fears of mass defection among US/UN forces leadership even though in the end the total number of defectors was like... twenty

Also there was a system of mass prisons with really dire conditions during the Korean war, I would reccomend season 3 of Blowback for learning about this. Episode 4 I believe touches on them specifically and how they started in Koje island

If Joe Biden can't generate a polling lead or beat Trump in a debate, then he can't beat Trump in the election and should be replaced with someone who can. I do not care about Joe Biden's feelings. I care about stopping Trump's re-election and Joe does not seem capable of doing that.
