It is weird, but one of the biggest feelings I have for folks right now who are (justifiably) angry at the Biden administration? Is compassion, because they think folks don't know how bad it is - but I think many of them don't understand how bad it can actually get.

So. Team Taiwan was accepted as a Roller Derby World Cup team for 2025! …and apparently has been told that a rep from Team China will be reaching out about “absorbing” the team. Because apparently, the mainland feels the need to be an international bully even in woman-dominated alternative sport 😐

I got offered a Preschool For All placement yesterday. This was after being waitlisted and thinking for sure that we wouldn’t get a spot. The prospect of not having that expense anymore almost brought me to tears. (y’know, just in case you weren’t aware how brutally expensive childcare is 🫠)

I feel like people who like Drupal are the same type of folks who hype Linux. “It’s the best because it’s extremely customizable!” …but then you find out that you have fuck with a command line just to make it do really basic functions, and I don’t have time for that
