The kids are demanding charges be dropped against the guy arrested for firebombing the UC-Berkeley campus.
The kids are expressly urging still greater violence to follow.

One of the hallmarks of the Trump Court is its penchant for making giant alterations to huge swaths of settled law based on abstract conceptual theories, and then sitting back and letting lower courts deal with the chaos they've unleashed.
I've called it "Leaving the Mess for Later."

The moral of the Bowman/Latimer primary is not that "pro-Israel = good politics", or that AIPAC money overwhelms the actual will of the people and destroys democracy. It's that all politics is local. The folks who want you to read more into it than that are selling you a bill of goods.

Remember: *My* primary challenge of an incumbent is an authentic expression of popular rebellion, *your* primary challenge is an astroturfed manipulation by powerful special interests.

Exactly. JG (and not just him) have drunk their own kool-aid regarding just how widespread their caricature of standpoint theory is, so they can demand Jews get a form of deference that JG probably *agrees* is unworkable in concept but that supposedly “every other group gets”.

These aren’t unrelated of course—we see widespread social protests against Israel but not Russia in part bc for the latter the US govt is already doing the thing, so protest is kinda moot (but query whether, in a Trump admin that flips the policy, we’ll see the e resurgence of anti-Russia protests).
