The worst part of this is how do the courts rein this in when the SCOTUS just ruled the president has immunity from prosecution as long as he's performing core duties? One can credibly argue that Schedule F falls within those duties and that it is all nice and legal, WTF?

this entire crusade against diversity in hiring and admissions is based on the supposition that all white men are necessarily more qualified than any nonwhite person or woman who might be considered for the job. like, this lawsuit more or less states that outright.

I don't see how that is possible in an economic system that demands endless growth. Individuals can do small things, but what is required is an urgent re-ordering on a mass scale that is unacceptable to capitalism and the SCOTUS is not about to allow that to happen any time soon.

Congratulations on the 14 years! I used the 12 step program to quit cocaine and haven’t used it in 40 years. I stopped going to meetings long ago because I was finally comfortable with me and all my faults. The one thing a person needs is the “want to” and you have it.
