When the american liberals use France's election as an illustration of the need to VOTE, they ignore that people were not only voting against the far right but *for* something. They voted for a campaign which promises to: increase minimum wage, lower retirement age, pay for all childcare, etc

On a quick glance this study looks promising - if we're reaching these (10-50 um) concentrations in the body, antihistamines may prevent COVID binding successfully and invading cells. (Usual caviats - not validated in people, but the mechanism is plausible and this evidence supports.)

The rules around this just absolutely suck. Order all the unregulated supplements you want to ingest, fine! Order testing supplies for a noninvasive, unofficial test validated by another country's regulatory agency, NO! Arrrrrrrgh. And it's all political/money motivated

These look great, manufacturer certified in Germany, which hopefully has some quality standards. Do you have any more info on their reliability? Can't find anything on a quick google. (Oh, and we're clearly getting price gouged at the chain pharmacies.)

Days after the Chevron ruling a corporate healthcare system - which doesn’t pay any taxes despite being a profit-driven business - is now suing Medicare so that they can collect more *tax dollars* w/o having to meet the standards of care set by CMS. Some CMS regulations may be silly but this is bad.

That is one thing I've never liked. When Black people deal with those type of issues, they are expected to walk it off and take it. But when something becomes a general issue where liberals are effected, then it is time for panic. Black people warn them in advance to silence or get talked down to.

Regarding the state of the political Left I think it is really unfortunate and sad that we are the strongest we've been in years and yet, because of how dramatic the disassembling of our traditional base of power was over the course of the 1970s to early 2010s, the resurgence is not near enough.

Sounds right. I got hit by late blight in 2020 so I'm only 4 out of 70 years in but that's basically what I'm up to. I also let the plants reseed so I have about 12 volunteers, 10 of which are beating the intentionally saved seed.

That is truly great news! My kitten Rocket had ocular FIP in 2018 - after the UC Davis trials were finished but before reliable Chinese networks had come about. He died at 11 months old and I will always, ALWAYS hold a grudge against Gilead for it.
