Completely seriously: If the narrative they want to push is "he's not showing up" is there anything that would change that? Like, you can't "make" them do it. You can do things that make it more likely but if they want to stick with this they can indefinitely regardless.

I read once that Tumblr is so low-performing on clickthru compared to every other site that companies basically just use it to test their weird ideas for ads to see if anything actually works. Plus they let users pay to make their own posts into ads. It’s wild out there.
