I have a Brother 2380DW that I just replaced, the paper feed is busted and the the toner is empty, but the flatbed scanner portion works just fine, and does 600DPI. Hadn’t gotten around to recycling it, happy to pass it along if it helps!

Went to see Hadestown with @shedric.bsky.social to celebrate 400 short story submissions so far this year!

As someone who submitted 47 times last year, this year I’ve been constantly surprising myself. I am so thankful that I have such supportive people in my life, like my spouse.

My advice--don't worry too much about being "original." Worry about whether the thing you're doing is interesting and fun to you. There will always be someone to say your work isn't sufficiently new. They are obviously not your audience. 5/5
