Period trackers are not safe for people in limited/no-abortion states. Many are collecting massive amounts of personal data on you beyond what you believe you’ve allowed. And tech companies are notoriously cooperative with law enforcement when they request your data—even w/o warrant/subpoena.

One of the many things that infuriates me is that there are GOOD, non-evil uses for tech like this! You could use it to locate ghost ponds or sites of archaeological interest, or track when trees leaf out for climate scientists or find trash concentrations in the ocean. But no, straight to evil.

COVID Update: sinuses still suck but the whole household is testing negative now, thankfully. I also realized that COVID preventing Chris's work trip meant he could be here for Bentley, which is a terrible silver lining but it would've been so much worse if he was in Texas.

Christ this is the worst...week? Week and a half? Had to put our dog, Bentley, down last night. He'd been feeling sick (mostly digestive issues, we'd been talking to a vet) and then suddenly went downhill...he had a mass on his spleen and internal bleeding.
