My dad had AuDHD and cPTSD just like I do and honestly it's starting to make sense why my house was like Dr Doolittle's growing up. He LOVED animals, sure - but my alarm clock this morning was the birds and I got a workout from running after a dog in the yard. Pretty sweet way to live.

The dog himself is a chocolate colored Labradoodle. He's about 4 and he is just the sweetest, friendliest little thing. He still does the puppy thing of trying to get his mouth on your hands/wrists so I just play with him every time he's outside. My workout was running after him this morning lmao

My favorite bear is actually the sloth bear and damn like NO ONE know what that one is iirc. They’re really cool though and Baloo from the jungle book was originally supposed to be one - but they changed him to a black bear for western audiences actually.

They were like my parents lifelong friends usually and since they were always there, we just called them aunt and uncle. It's nice IMHO. It's why I treat both blood family and found family with equal amounts of love and commitment as an adult. 😊

Oh yeah to give some personal input I have uncles and aunts that I found out weren't biologically related to me but it doesn't matter IMHO. They were always there at family gatherings, they have remained positive figures in my life and still are!

New weird thing I found out I can't stand anyone who refers to a child/infant as 'it' even if it's in the third person like not in front of the kid Oof. That's uncomfortable. And no hate to people who use it/its pronouns - but you were old enough to elect to use those yourselves, I imagine.

If I don't need something anymore, I generally just give it to someone else who needs it or even just really loves/wants it. I gave all my binders and girl clothes away to other people. I don't ask for anything in return. I just want people to love my possessions as I once did. ^^
