Writing fiction IS hard. I have zero advice that didn't come from far more successful writers who wrote books/blogs/did workshops to share their wisdom on craft. I'm no help, but there's a wellspring of craft advice out there to tap into.

Unpopular opinion: Didn't like Godzilla Minus One. Cool vibe, setting, and characters, but when (spoiler alert) Godzilla gets a mine in the mouth and it explodes blowing half his face off, he just heals in seconds, and I'm like, that's kinda dumb. Switched off after that.

I think being from Sudan and witnessing my family flee to Egypt, seeing the war, death, and destruction, I held onto a naive hope that "America won’t let it get too bad." Gaza shattered that hope, and the Supreme Court ruling buried it.
