I still say the app isn't about some phantom robotaxi, but so Tesla can "deliver" more existing cars to itself that are then leased out to rideshare drivers. Sure, it'll lose money, but it'll allow them to keep those quarterly delivery numbers pumped.

I had a suspicion that RoboTaxi wouldn’t actually be a product, just software/an app for existing Teslas. Now I’m certain this is going to be sold to scumbags who rent 20 properties on AirBnb, and as some sort of transit alternative. It will be one of his biggest, and deadliest frauds to date.
