you’re not wrong, especially in this kind of space, but as it relates to SA, I would argue that this stance is so often spouted in bad faith that I suspect it’s very difficult to trust

it’s a useful skill to have handy! it’s just endearingly funny that I’m in my 30s, still driving a stick from 2010, and it’s still important to him to emphasize the peripheral benefits

It is 2024 and my dad texted me a WSJ link at 6:30 AM about driving stick shift to sincerely note that not only is my car harder to steal, I have a potential competitive advantage in the valet driving world.
