When rumors were swirling about Louis CK, I shrugged those off, too. Sounded bad but I liked his act. I handwaved Woody Allen. I don't believe in rushing to judgment, but I also have to recognize that a lot of powerful people have caused great harm because they were given the benefit of the doubt.

I'm concerned about the Neil Gaiman allegations and will keep an eye on it. I say that out loud because when there were allegations about Cosby, I shrugged them off until they resurfaced a decade later. It seemed like someone should do something, but it wasn't me. Problem was everyone thought that.

For Disability Pride Month, one thing I'd love abled bodied people to figure out is how to speak to someone with chronic health issues without implying that if they themselves had the disabled person's health conditions, they would end it all. I promise you life goes on- even with health issues.
