This positioning of key allies in our institutions like the BBC and regulators like Ofcom, Ofwat, Ofgem does need addressing. The Environment Agency is currently not fit for purpose imho.

Tories questioning Labour's 172 seat majority, won under the UK's FPTP electoral system, should remember:

Brexit was advisory & happened on a 52-48 majority.

Only 81, 326 Tory members, about 0.3% of all voters, picked Truss as PM.

Sunak was appointed: There was no vote at all.

The Tories are out, deservedly so, but 14 years of Tory rule have caused incalculable harm. We can feel relief, but Labour won’t be able to fix all these problems & the Tory media will undermine them. It’s also clear that the far right is rising & will be dusting off their Bannon/Trump playbook.

Just remember as you go to vote tomorrow that Johnson partied while people died alone, bunged £40B+ of our money to their pals, made lying the new norm. Truss lost £50B by nearly crashed the economy. Sunak promised much but delivered more pain with record high taxes. VOTE THEM OUT.

Starmer is storing up trouble re his EU stance. Polls have shown that progressively there is support for rejoining or at least much closer ties with the EU. Labour have been information light on how they will turn around the economy. No mention of rejoining the single market for example. 🤷🏼‍♂️

They spaffed it all up the wall on private contractors in the NHS as an example. HS2 contractors, Atos, Maximus, Serco etc..all private contractors. Private sector pockets have been filled with government gold, while the public sector sent up white flags begging for help.
