Hereโ€™s a link for declaration times at the 2019 UKGE if you want to work out how late you might have to stay up on July 4/5.

How long I stay up on election night depends entirely on whether England have a Euro quarter final on the Friday or not. Cos if they do then I'm working Friday, of they don't I'm taking the day off and staying up all Thursday night

I seem to remember Leeds declare around 4am - it's an all night pop and crisps night.

Day off already booked. Bingo card being devised. (Too many that I want to see have a Portillo moment) Beers yet to be bought.

I wonder how so many constituencies in the land of my fathers (and mothers) can declare by 1am, but nearly everywhere else takes so much longer.

Hmmm. The constituency I am standing in didn't declare until 5:30am last time!

I fully intend to stay up all night, for the first time since 1997. It's my birthday on the 4th, too, so we'll have a little party...

Looking forward to a lovely night and morning. The daylight will begin to build from around 4am as most seats are declared. And the sun will start to rise as well! Vote, vote, vote. Take your friends โ€ฆ ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธโณ๐ŸŒž

Made a quick-and-dirty cumulative graph to help work out peak declaration hours. <2am: 10% of seats 2-3am: 20% 3-4am: 35% 4-5am: 25% 5am and onwards: last straggling 10%, nail-biting recounts, etc.

If I had any holiday left, I'd be tempted to take the Friday off work and watch the results roll in. Will probably be a better watch than most the recent UK election results. The 16 days I took off for a Japan trip just used up too much of my holiday days.

I've booked the Thursday and Friday off work, planning the full shebang... late morning meander to cast my vote, afternoon looking up pictures of doggos outside polling stations, getting in a nice spread to last through the night, put the son on his school bus at 8am Friday with my eyes on the floor

I'm so jealous of those who can stay up to watch. I'm on granddaughter duty on 5th so have to sleep. Planning on getting up extra early to catch the highlights before going to pick her up.
