It sounds like an addiction, not a passion. When you create art, you put your passion, experience, emotions into it. You can feel proud or content about your work, your improvement, the way you managed to realize your idea. Older work can remind you of your state of mind. GenAI has none of this.

Many 3D artists rag on Daz3D & Poser, since they sell pre-made assets that produce samey-looking work, bt at least Daz & Poser only use your own processing power and you still had to block & pose figures, mess around w/ virtual photography & lighting, etc. instead of having an AI guess your artwork.
