I do captioning for a living, & a big part of my job is cleaning up false starts & filler words. That has always been the norm at every media outlet. Print media edits Trump so carefully that you would never know what he actually sounds like. Doing this to Biden is a 180 from decades of policy.

Fair. But Hitler was surrounded by and drawing from the cult of personality. The Heritage Foundation and P25 are fundamentally outside of Trump’s cult, see it and him for what they are, & are using it and him as a tool to achieve their own objectives. The goal of P25 is to staff a competent administration, one that won’t collapse. So, the idea that it will fail should it rise to power is sort of playing into their hand. Folks should absolutely be alarmed by this, no one should stay home in November because they think P25 is too crazy to succeed.

Thing about P25 is that the Heritage Foundation is putting it together so that no one will stop him next time he wants to have protesters shot. So, past is and isn't prologue here. P25 is a method to circumvent the checks that were in place during his first—and, hopefully, only—administration.
