Women, OTOH... depicting women in fiction is *fraught*. Even women have written women badly. Any woman protagonist in a story is going to get fine tooth combed in every aspect-appearance, dialogue, motivations, relationships, etc etc.

Honestly, I have always *hated* this framing. I charge what I do for my art because *that's what I want to charge*. It has nothing to do with me thinking me or my art is worthless or worth less. If people try to guilt trip others, that's *not my fault*.
