For conservatives, social hierarchy and inequality, at least the kinds they like, are natural, rational, god-given. So right-thinking people can't actually want a more just and equitable world. The must be misled by sinister puppeteers, so every explanation moves toward anti-semitism.

Same. Hoping the fact that shot #5 (or was it #6? Losing count since they stopped filling card) was a switchover from Moderna to Novavax will help bridge the gap, with cross reactivity and Nova’s pretty good record against new variants. But who knows given it was September of ’23 when I got it.

There are around 50 million children age 6-17 in this country. I'm not particularly good at math but does a couple hundred surgeries and maybe a few thousand kids on hormone therapy a year strike you as a particularly large percentage of 50 million?

The thing with these guys is they view communications media (speech, fiction, film, TV series, drama, you name it) as data transmission and nothing more. The Great Gatsby is a list of events and characters and if you can cut that down to 500 words, you're maximizing something.

I know this is counterproductive but my emotional response to recent events is: We should’ve gotten Bernie in 2016 or at minimum 2020. The other candidates + Obama + others working together to torpedo Bernie on Super Tuesday in 2020 will go down in history, if there is any, as a colossal blunder.
