one of the hardest things for me to do is accept support from other people, and one of the things that makes it easier for me is remembering that it feels nice to help someone i care about, even when i'm going out of my way… so why wouldn't other people feel that way about me, too?

Sorry to be that guy, but that dude dumps the games. Pretty sure he's shown photos of them running in clone hardware / flash carts. He just doesn't release them. (I'm aware of the guy thanks to me hanging around some game preservation places. What a pain.)

I was planning to release something historically important to furry (though only related tangentially) but people like that make me hesitant to even bother. I've been (minorly) involved in video game preservation in one way or another for 25 years. I've seen this exact attitude before.

listen i'm not saying GIMP is useless but i am saying it's a misrepresentation to act like it's a perfectly acceptable 100% replacement for Photoshop and that its interface isn't totally fuckin busted. like sorry but i have been on Computer since 1994 and it is among the worst UIs i have ever seen

I like a bunch of stuff it offers, but the other 98% of it needs so much work, it's not even funny. No one should be using it as their main program. And it just randomly decides to ignore input, or make a dialogue box invisible or inaccessible or leave it floating with no way to reach it...
