This is just such a wild take. I have gained SO MUCH from social media. Like I have been able to learn so many things I never would have otherwise been able to learn; it has made me feel so much less alone in so many ways; and it's allowed me to have good friends in places I've never been to

I'm still in but, we have snow and ice here from October or November through March (and sometimes April) and from what I've heard about their rust issues the road salt would probably cause it to disintigrate instantly

Oh! I also should recommend Gail Carriger's Soulless Series, they are very funny and I read first read them after a really sad, dark book when I needed something to be the opposite of that and it worked out wonderfully

I also find a lot of the star trek tie in novels pretty chill since you know everyone lives, and that things will be okay in the end because that's just the format (or at least it has been for all of the ones I've read anyway). Quality varies widely from book to book though lol

If lighthearted is the most important part, I'd suggest Legends & Lattes it's a nice easy cosy fantasy read with some really good found family stuff

I drive my old kia rio through snow like that usually multiple times a year just to go to work since rural roads are not top priority for snow removal. My little car's probably towed more things than most cybertrucks ever have too though

You could do something like this on the StoryGraph. It's a goodreads alternative that has a bunch of really cool features, one of which is buddy reads. You can also track fanfic you read on there (it just gets a "not a book" tag so reviews for it won't show up publicly)
