yeah he yanked their funding after 30 years of success and insists on everyone using the brown bins instead even though it isnt practical for all situations and a huge compost hole still exists, plus allegedly most of that is turned into methane gas through the sewage plants and not made into soil

this and the emerging details of how eric adams has dismantled community composting in favor of a program that does not produce the environmentally beneficial results of organics recycling (soil, less waste and emissions) - gutted and for methane gas production. nyc is fucking depressing right now.

when i rent a car in brooklyn im always like shouting at other drivers for going over 25mph and i am always shocked at how bad the blindspots are even for small cars like priuses and sedans

Heard one honk over the course of a week in Belgium, and this included time in Brussels, which is a bit car-centric by European standards. Landed back in NYC today, exited Terminal 4 at JFK and was immediately struck by all the honking. Truly fucked up.

I think once the market is properly fractured in half, heavy AI regulation is enforced, and public sentiment towards AI generated material is largely negative–since it will have fucked every aspect of everyones lives and cut a hole in the economy–these people will be singing a different song
