So, just assuming the 10k are actual profit (which no way, there are marketing costs etc etc), he would have to sell 100 MILLION of those robots to make a trillion per year.

For comparison Microsoft generates roughly $200B in annual revenue selling its ubiquitous software. Elon thinks a very expensive niche toy robot will generate 5X Microsoft. I can definitely see why everyone thinks he's a "genius".🙄

Could Elon not even be bothered to Google how much the Boston Dynamics dog costs so he could at least realistically undercut a relevant player? 10K is suspiciously less than a 75k dog bot that theoretically should be less capable than the former.

Back when my hometown university was a proper university students had to pass a literacy test to graduate…. Except Business students. I’ve always wonder why & how they were the exception.

I worked with a woman who did her MBA over her summer vacation. Two weeks. I have no doubt that it was challenging, but I’m not sure I would consider two weeks enough time for something like that.

Honestly, I’m glad I’m not a securities lawyer anymore. This appears to be blatant stock manipulation to me. But the SEC is so fucking toothless they won’t do anything about it. Everyone at the SEC wants to work for Goldman someday so they can’t possibly do their jobs effectively.

It's because a lot of business majors are dim enough that the repetition needs to occur in every class or they *will* forget it since they're busy rewatching The Office. No I'm not salty about my cohort in the college of business, why?

Of the opinion that business schools need to make actual work experience a condition of admission because 20-somethings going straight through from undergrad are going to be liabilities as managers those first ~5 years, if not the rest of their lives
