Perhaps there is no full-page editorial freakout demanding Trump drop out of the race because the hereditary failson publisher of the New York Times A. G. Sulzberger has solidarity with local hereditary failson Trump? Both have done a spectacularly lousy job of managing their daddies' businesses.

I love your takes, Jeff, but not this one. The far more important question to ask is if Biden's recent performance proves he's not up to the task. That's clearly a valid question, and just like J6, we all saw what we saw. Berating those who ask it isn't clever, it's whistling past the graveyard.
I'm with you, Jeff. A.G. Sulzberger has turned the paper to a family owned and is a sucker to digital readership with the recent indignity headline. No integrity attached to the original "All the News That's Fit to Print." It lowers its own prestige to all the news that fits to shred!
I've been boycotting it for a few years now. I won't even click on their free links. There are plenty of good journalists in large metros across the country.
