#BirdGlamour knows Western Flycatchers by any other name would live up to the "difficilis" part! In 1989 the species was split into the Pacific-slope Flycatcher & Cordilleran Flycatcher. They were merged back into the Western Flycatcher in 2023 because there aren't enough consistent differences!🐡🧪🐦
