The fact that so many are calling for Harris to replace Biden as the nominee, but not exercise the 25th to replace him as President is baffling to me. If he's unfit, he's unfit. There isn't an option where he's fit now but not in January.

Or even just being incapacitated. Strange that no one thinks they actually have a case worth implementing it. Maybe they have more knowledge and evidence than 'experts' on social media that saw a debate (or part of one).

If the money people in the Democratic Party thought for a second that Kamala Harris had a better chance of beating Trump and that Biden was unfit, they would be better off pushing for the 25th amendment to be invoked. If Biden is unfit, he's unfit. Not running for re-election won't fix the issue.

That's not an accurate calendar. He went to Normandy from June 3-9 (D-Day events). Then flew back for the G7 about 3 or 4 days after his return (from June 13-16). Then flew out to California for a fund raiser. He flew back from all of this travel to Camp David on June 20. So that's only one week.

That’s, ultimately, what worries me most about all of this - what I’ve been trying to emphasize in my writing about “Project 2025”: Too many people think a second Trump term would “just” be more of the same. They haven’t been paying attention. It would be something very different.

Everything Biden has failed at over the last two weeks has been things he's failed at since elected, but the stakes seemed lower so people felt comfortable ignoring it. Like climate change, we quietly see the problem but stay passive as we see the danger looming on the horizon.

They were already sharing videos of such things (most doctored). And conveniently ignoring the actual videos of McConnell. All I'm saying is that there is precedent for this sort of debate performance and calls for someone being unfit for office, and it did not turn out to be the end of the world.

The GOP has already been constantly beating this drum since before he was even elected. They only veered from it briefly after the SOTU when they said Biden was 'hopped up' on something (some even suggested cocaine). This is all reminiscent of Fetterman also.

Polling the day after the debate suggested the opposite. His poll numbers slightly improved. I say take Fetterman's advice and chill out. He had a pretty disastrous debate too, and wound up beating Oz handily.

My brain recently did the same when we went see comedian Jared Freid. I was a little confused as to why a Jew would be named 'fried' (as in fried food). Turns out he pronounces it like Fried (the name).

It's like my father. He's literally the same age as Trump (78). Talks about Biden (who turns 82 this year) as though he's a doddering old man. Um, he was 78 when he was elected in 2020. He's only 4 years older than you. Remember what you said in 4 years if I put you in a home. lol

There isn't really anything that Twitter had that Blue Sky doesn't from a technology standpoint (except for private accounts at this point). What's really missing is more the group of active people that were there. Those that are here just aren't as active (for differing reasons I'm sure).
