I put together a rough cut of a tutorial to get people started with Marvel vs Capcom 2 in Fightcade. It shows you how to setup ROMs, map buttons, and use Training Mode with its internal recording features.

It still needs some polish, but let me know what you think.

Lastly, for those of you who want to stay on your controller during Training Mode dummy recording, I added buttons for cycling between input slots, playing, and recording your selection. They can be found in the Training Mode section of your Controller settings.

Lua functions were also added to give the modding community a head start in making interesting Training scripts for your favorite games. More ways to read memory values, access to the frame number, color progress bars, lines, and rectangles for hitboxes.

To simplify controller mapping, the Test Game screen now loads all button and system definitions for the intended game upon launch. System selection is now disabled in the controller mapping menu when there is a target game. No more accidental switching between DC & Arcade.

Flycast Dojo 6.32 is out! This release includes bug fixes & features based on the feedback I received after the most recent Fightcade release. It will be bundled in the service's upcoming hotfix release. Simplified controller mapping, Lua functions, and Training features inside.

I'm still on the fence about converting it to a Darksoft board. XvSF has a special place in my heart. It was my original reason for installing MAME back in the day. (The Super Street Fighter II PC port held me over at the time. What a fool I was.)

A lot of Archive's code is open source! You can run the same archival-quality web crawlers that we do and even check out other repositories with web frontend and software emulation code. Many repositories accept contributions!
