Cardio exercises? Not much comes to mind besides Pool walking. For strengthening, there still a lot of yoga you can do while on knees or back.

That seems like a good compromise, and frankly if you're a week out and still testing negative I'd expect you to be safe, but who the hell knows. If only we had some transparent official guidance to help us!

The underlying concern is that the paxlovid may have dropped your viral load low enough that you're not contagious, but we can't tell if it's actually dead or just working up to a rebound. It took me 4 or 5 days after testing negative to have a rebound positive.

To also be fair to you both, we are in a profession that inherently requires some belief in the rule of law. The concepts of ethics and justice also often play a part, despite all our cynicism. With that as our foundation, I think we can be forgiven for not seeing this coming.

Ari, I honestly don't know how to feel about SCOTUS news anymore. Even after the Netchoice opinions, I only have dread about this. And I can't tell if that's driven by residual trauma from the past week, or if it's just grim realism at the state of SCOTUS.
