As the pandemic continues to rage, Trump announces the United States is withdrawing from the World Health Organization. Candidate Joe Biden promises to immediately reverse this if elected. (He did, in his first hours in office.)

knowing that the white house just signed a massive parkinson’s bill in july changes the entire tone of this story so much that this makes it wildly, horrifically offensive

Hang on!!! The miscast young version of #JeanGrey in #DarkPhoenix… She kills #Mystique!!! So how is Mystique back from the dead in the first #X-Men?

Or Logan “returned” from 1973 in between the second and the third films. Which would mean that the horrible ending for #JeanGray and #ScottSummers still happens? No, I prefer to think he came back at the end of the former storylines of the first three films. #X-MenFilms #HopelessRomantic

That would explain how #ProfessorX is back for #Logan, although there was a little bit at the end of the third one to explain that, but… And also how some of the events and character connections don’t work in the first three films.
Yes, I’ve been thinking about this too much. #X-MenFilms

Having been obsessively watching the #X-MenFilms over the past two weeks, in terms of the storyline chronology, I argue that #X-MenDaysOfFuturePast should be placed after #X-MenTheLastStand. The events of 1973 have changed the timeline so that what happened in the “first” 3 films didn’t happen.

Excuse my French, but what an arsehole. How about just give them a sandwich? People suck.
Going to go back to cocoon in bed watching Hugh Jackman movies.
Take care over there and I hope things work out a lot better than we’re all fearing .

On our national broadcaster, the ABC, which I generally watch during the election counts, at the last election when our Labor Party won, it was the same thing. The journalist going on & on about the losing Liberal govt, silencing & ignoring ALP members on panel. That’s the #EvilMurdochInfluence.

"Oh SHIT we're running out of GAS we gotta extract MORE GAS" is one of the filthiest lies from Aus' fossil fuel industry, yet somehow it's also extremely successful and largely received completely uncritically every time it gets repeated by their cheerleaders

That’s owned by #EvilMurdoch, isn’t it? Isn’t it just right what he and Lachlan want you to write, no questions asked or you don’t get paid? The 21st-century equivalent to making a deal with the devil.

Pretty much every move I’ve ever made in comics since age 25 has been inspired by the 70-year-olds I saw in comic con Artist Alleys, cranking out sketches of characters they created but don’t own, to pay their doctor bills and nursing home fees.

Thank you to the scientists for doing their great work, but I don’t want to know about the science behind #Fireworks. I just want to enjoy the pretty spectacle with all the colours in the big bangs. 🤭🤭

Bloody love pastilles. Every time I was scheduled for the Bath tour, I’d head to the Aussie shop in Covent Garden and get myself a packet because after I tasted the waters at the Roman baths, pastilles, 4 to be exact, were the only thing to get that bloody awful hot metallic taste out of my mouth!

The UK is teeny in comparison to Australia and they have 650 constituencies? I mean that’s insane. That’s too many politicians. No wonder the UK is in such a mess. #CooksAndBroth #UKpol #UKElection2024

I could never read the books again because the writing was so bad, but I did like the story and that’s what kept me going. And I never thought of her as a girl power feminist, but I’m lying here thinking about what you’ve just said. I may at least have to watch the films again.

It doesn’t seem right to like that, so I’m responding instead. How utterly sad. Please talk to people young ones. Don’t trust your traitorous brains, which are also getting all muddled because your hormones are going crazy too. Speak to somebody. Lean on someone. 😢🙏🏼🩷💚

It’s going through the city I live in, but of course hardly anybody’s wearing masks, I’m not sure about vaccinations, and they act all surprised when they come down with it. “But COVID is over!” Yeah, nah. Our govts have wished it was over & act like it‘s over. And everybody else followed suit.
