One thing that I've done is to learn to say "unkind" with conviction. Really put your weight behind it, because it belongs there. I don't always have good words, and calling people slurs related to perceived low intelligence was ironically a fallback. You always have "unkind". Any other favorites?

Ppl are retweeting this and I just want to add that faxing is THE most annoying thing to do to your representatives. There are websites where you can fax for a small fee and those machines are LOUD and then at the very least they have to deal with all the print outs.

Food: "Traditional" Westcountry cream tea wasn't made with scones. Back when beer was brewed at home you scooped the froth (barm) off the top and made an enriched dough bread called a barm cake Scones came with the railways when tourist places needed something quick to serve a rush of customers
