Morning! I have SM from the library to start this week. I have reread Runemarks by Joanne M. Harris. Harris embodies Loki in twists and turns in this prophetic tale of a young girl and her one-eyed friend. I hope more people discover it. The reread was so I could read the equal Runelight.

I am re-reading The Lord of the Rings and loving it. I’ve left it just long enough that’s it doesn’t feel overly familiar with the added fun spotting all the titbits of history that play into the new spin off series they have in production or development. And we’re only as far as Rivendell :)

I couldn't resist. I spent the week finishing Brian Catling's Vorrh trilogy. The Cloven pulls a strange switch where the background swamps the lead characters from the previous 2 books, pulling the scale into something bordering on infinite apocalypse. It's such a wild, uneasy, unique series.
