I've heard its continuous for some, even when they ARE participating well in class. As in Jane puts hand up, answers question, teacher goes "that's right, well done. Listen up everyone to HIS answer." Just over and over.

yeah it would take a lot of energy to stand up to someone who is likely grading your work and therefore affecting when you can GTFO. And lets face it, they never stop straight away anyhow it is ongoing.

Still masking where there isn't good ventilation, like public places/transport, in the office. Kids still are where they can at school. But considering indoor classroom eating with other sick kids and staff, or sports especially swimming etc it is still largely down to luck that we are novids.

yeah Tammy's comment “Unfortunately, it is something that we hear commonly from young people, that teachers and other students are choosing not to respect their names and pronouns at school or putting extra difficulties in place around it,” Besley said. Harder to get kids to stop when teachers are.
